CHASE CLINE, CATERING DIRECTOR | chase@sodelconcepts.com

Chase was born and raised in Laurel Delaware, part of a big blended family with 7 kids. He went to the local public schools, and graduated from Laurel High School. He went on to study at the University of Delaware and majored in French, German, and Japanese. 

Chase was a very active child, and particularly enjoyed camping, hiking, swimming, and gymnastics, and day dreamed of one day performing for Cirque du Soleil. When that fell through, he started working as a server at Jimmy’s Grille in Bridgeville, DE. He worked there in the summer and on breaks throughout college, eventually taking on more responsibility helping with catering, both in the office and at events. After college, Chase became the Director of Catering for Jimmy’s Grille and Highway One Group and was employed with the company for 19 years. 

In 2019, Chase took the position of Director of Catering for SoDel Concepts, overseeing all off-site catering for the company, and on-site catering at 6 of the 12 properties. Chase also manages the sky boxes for Dover Downs for the spring and fall Nascar races.

Chase is also the President of the Trap Pond Partners, a non-profit group, which is a fundraising arm for Trap Pond State Park. The board provides funding for needed projects at the park and for educational field trips for local schools. 

Chase lives in Rehoboth Beach with his husband Dru and their two sharpei, Jazz and Bruceton.
